Awesome New Years ride We were picked up on time from where we stayed and the drive to Imlil from Marrakech was just over an hour, very comfortable and with a super nto ice driver. Once we arrived in Imlil we met with Mustafa, our guide for the day. Mustafa really was a big part of the joy of the day, his personality is super positive and he really was a lot of fun hang out with! After changing into cycle gear and testing out our bikes we got started up into the beautiful mountains. I had just come of a pretty bad flu and both myself and my friend hadn't been on a mountainbike for some time, but Mustafa adjusted to our level perfectly. The ride was mostly up and down on gorgeous mountain roads, and then we did one longer downhill run in a bit more terrain. Due to the earthquake in the area a few months earlier there were a lot of sharp rocks but the difficulty was pretty perfect for our status at the time! Great fun!! After that we went up towards a small village which I believe is the highest altitude village in Morocco (if I remember correctly) where we stopped for lunch at a house. The lunch provided was simple but tasted great, it was actually my favourite meal of our whole 10 day trip to Morocco. Super tasty and in a wonderful setting, not another tourist in sight! After lunch we continued going up and down on the mountainous roads, it was a lot of fun! We opted out of going down on a small trail since we both felt a bit out of shape, but the normal roads were just as fun! All in all a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a day in a gorgeous setting. Using e-mtb's was really awesome as well, that way we could enjoy the views and having enough energy all day. Even if you're in a decent shape I would recommend using e-bikes since you will probably feel the altitude! Thanks Mustafa and support crew for a great day! Amazing bike tour We went on a mountain bike ride in the high Atlas Mountains, near Imlil Valley. It was without a doubt our favorite part of the trip! The scenery was incredible, our guide and driver were kind and helpful, and the bike was challenging but interspersed with food / tea stops at local places in the Imlil valley. 10 Days of Pure MTB bliss in the ATLAS and SAHARA 10 DAY MOUNTAIN BIKING THROUGH ATLAS MOUNTAINS TO THE SAHARA This was an incredible trip. 10 days of beautiful and demanding biking with each day offering something different in terms of terrain, and biking experiences. From villages in the high Atlas; to great gravel in the anti Atlas; and desert plateaus and giant rocks and sand in the Sahara, this trip was truly something very special. I travelled solo and met great people on this tour. We started on 24th December and biked our way through Christmas and New Year, finishing on 2nd January 2023. Lahcen was lead and was on hand to answer all questions and 4x4 support; Mustafa and Abduaziz were our biking guides and buddies and pedaled every km with us. Mustafa is undertaking the Atlas Mountain Race next month, so we were in expert hands. Both guys provided great chat, expertise and knowledge about all things biking, Atlas and Berber and so our days passed though stunning landscape in good company with good conversation and good laughs. We biked from 6-10 hours a day with lunches on the go. The biking was exceptional, and the bikes too. Food was provided by our own cook, Bahrin who made great and interesting meals in the wild. From tangines to pasta, vegetarian, meat and fish, we were very well catered for and sat down to lovely spreads of hot food and salads in wonderful locations. We were fully supported by Aziz who carried our gear in a van and Lahcen who was never very far away in his 4x4, so despite being way out there and in what seemed like really remote and beautiful places, we were safe in the knowledge that we help was always on hand, if needed.

Faglegt og gott fólk Frábær ferð með Lahcen!! Get ekki sagt nógu góða hluti um lahcen og MTB hjólaferðir. Lahcen var mjög greiðvikinn við þarfir okkar og sýndi okkur fallega skoðunarferð um svæðið á bakvegum og malbikuðum vegum. Þvílík fullkomin 50. afmælisferð í Atlas :) ég var í sömu ferð með Jim í þessari ferð um Atlasfjöllin í fyrsta skipti. Ég elskaði það, ég hef alltaf verið aðdáandi þess að hoppa á hjóli og upplifa ævintýri, og það gerðum við. Við hjóluðum meðfram nokkrum glæsilegum svæðum og enduðum á sætum veitingastöðum Agafay eyðimörkinni! sem við fórum aftur til eftir nokkra daga og fengum frábæra máltíð. við hefðum ekki getað beðið um betri leiðsögumann, með betri persónuleika. fimm stjörnur!

Fantastic E-bike tour in Morocco A fantastic way to see many of the main sites of Atlas mountains. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide, Abdo and said, was professional, informative and friendly.
